6 Islands in 3 weeks : The Indonesian Files

In late August I set out on my first solo adventure and my first trip outside of Europe. With over 13,000 islands Indonesia has to be one of the richest sources of adventure,culture and nature. However I wasn’t prepared for the sheer amount of beauty which Indonesia would show me and although I packed a lot in I now realise that in  3 weeks I can only have scratched the surface on what is a truly mesmerising country.From stunning coastal vistas,volcanic terrain,lush green rice terraces to cities full of creative charm Indonesia has so much variety. These are the  islands I was lucky enough to experience and in the next few weeks I will be dedicating a post ( or two!) to each island. – Bali
