The Best of Kent & Sussex: Chapter 2: Scotney Castle

Scotney Castle has been a fairly recent discovery for us despite it being very close to Sissinghurst. It feels like stepping into a setting for a fairytale. The castle is just stunning and is surrounded by a medieval mote dating back to the 14th Century.The country House which dates back to Victorian times is also very impressive and the gardens are lovely.Furthermore if like us you have dogs in need of a walk the surrounding 770 acre estate of woods and parkland is perfect for a long walk.
